Revolutionary Agitation

Who shall come along for the ride? The
greatest answers are secrets concealed
in the most miniscule of things. This mind
requires soothing from profoundly
troubling dreams, theories of evolution
and shortcuts to visionary schemes.
Carnage underlies every economy and
propels it inexorably to beauty. Who
shall be my trusted guide?

  1. "The greatest answers are secrets concealed
in the most miniscule of things." Wise words. Many people don't pay attention to the details anymore or the 'little joys' in life.

  2. And what is most hilariously appropriate about this is that the poem itself is, geometrically speaking, a miniscule thing. It seems the speaker is quite the confident fella when it comes to his wisdom. The repetition of questions on both ends and the various internal rhymes make it a really delightful little thing and all the more so since it's little, obviously. Unless one disagrees with the motto, in which case he is obviously the living proof of the thesis and should meekly go on to read and reread the piece. That's the basis and makings of theology right here but let us not spoil this poetry with such nasty business anymore, shall we?
