Haha, that is just splendid. The reverberating refrain and the rhyming in-between is just to perfect a lead into the ending. Only two ways- fear and drugs. Perhaps that is true.
ReplyDeleteidk if this is true, but there is some truth to it. i'm talking about acute thrusts into hyperawareness that do not long persist. study and reflection, in conjunction with the appropriate kind of brain/mind/intellect (an exceedingly rare and fortuitous intersection of required ingredients!) may also be efficacious, although in a chronic and (usually) somewhat muted form.
